Another image from the series of still life drawings that I should call, “My Wife’s Shoes” because I probably haven’t gotten around to attempting any other still life drawings. Oh well.

These ones were unique in that I decided against having paint falling into the shoe itself and instead painted a sort of background waterfall. I also focused heavily on texture and shadows cast from off-scene objects.
