Mixed Media (Acrylic and Paper) on 8x10x1.5 wood panel.

Some facts about this art:

• I used an old soldering iron to burn the paper edges before applying them to the panel
• I painted the full fire before glueing down the paper and liked it so much I thought about not adding the collage at all.
• The fire does extend to the bottom edge of the panel
• Things tend to get posted out of order but this was the first painting that I tried creating a “message”

Something I’ve been really enjoying with these paintings is wrapping the paint and images around all four sides so that there’s something to see no matter how you view the piece.
