Acrylic paint pour on wood panel.
I made a series of paintings in my garage because I knew it was going to get messy. I poured the paint, did the artsy things. I left my creations in a safe space to dry and walked away.
When I came back to review, this painting had a little something special in it – a little friend.
Not only do you get the beauty of this paint pour but you also get to see the last flight of the fly who landed in it, got stuck, and tried to swim out – dragging my paint along with it. I can’t guarantee that the fly will survive shipping but I can tell you that it was treated with a UV varnish and polyurethane like the rest of the painting, so I’m hoping for the best.
Obviously, the fly was so in love with the color that it wanted to be one with the paint forever… so why not honor it by putting it on your wall?
